The series "Iconography" is centered around the idea of profane reappropriation of and interaction with religious iconographies, namely but not limited to Judeo-Christian iconography. Through this exercise, I wish to propose a meditation ( incarnated in these meditating, introspective figures) themes of identity, gender and the inherent mysticism of the soul embedded and living in flesh. I attempt here to compose a kind of Gnose of my own around the sanctity of the living flesh. It is an exploration through hermeticism  of the idea of oneness between spirituality, identity and body.
